Community Newsletter
The Community Newsletter is distributed to every home in the
Claysburg-Kimmel School District on a bi-monthly basis. The Newsletter provides community
members and local organizations an opportunity to share news about events,
fundraisers, accomplishments/awards/honors and general topics of local interest.
The Community Newsletter is sponsored by Claysburg-Kimmel Communities That Care,
Greenfield Township, Kimmel Township and the Claysburg Economic
Development, Inc. We greatly appreciate the generosity of News Printing
Corporation for donating
the time and resources for printing the Newsletter and the
Claysburg-Kimmel High School Community Service Club for preparing the
Newsletters for distribution.
Newsletter articles are due on the 5th of each "odd
numbered" month (i.e. January, March, May, etc...) and distributed during
the first couple weeks of the subsequent month. If you would like to
submit articles with or without photos, please either:
Leave a hardcopy of your article (and any photos) at one of the many drop-off locations including: the main office of either the Claysburg-Kimmel High School or the Claysburg-Kimmel Elementary School, the Greenfield or Kimmel Township Secretary's office or the Carpet Depot.
Please provide your name and phone number with the article in case of questions.
