CKCTC colleceted data on the communities within the Claysburg-Kimmel School Distrcit. The following risks were prioritized:

Extreme Economic Deprivation

• Living in deteriorating, economically deprived neighborhoods with little hope for the future

Family Management Problem

• Lack of clear expectations for behavior

• Failure to monitor children

• Excessively severe or inconsistent punishment

Early & Persistent Antisocial Behavior Engaging in these activities during early adolescence:

• Skipping school

• Interrupting class

• Getting into fights

Lack of Commitment to School

• Not liking school

• Not liking school work

• Not liking teachers

Friends Who Engage in Problem Behavior Associating with people who:

• Use drugs

• Engage in violent and/or delinquent acts

• Drop out of school

• Are involved with teen pregnancy
